Our Co-founder Lisa Osbelt-Block was a guest on the latest edition of Gert Scobel's science talk show on ZDF/3sat.

Scobel discussed the implications of the human holobiont-the interactions between the human body and its microbial colonization-for biology, medicine, and philosophy. The threat of antibiotic-resistant bacteria was also discussed.

His guests included Lisa Osbelt-Block, a microbiologist at the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research in Braunschweig, Thomas Bosch from the University of Kiel, and the philosopher and author Andreas Weber from Hamburg.

We are welcoming the fact that the extremely important topics of the microbiome and antibiotic resistance are receiving growing attention in society and in a holistic approach.
